Olive oil in the pan . . . chuck eye . . . seasoned with Morton's Seasoning . . . cooked on apple wood coals for 5-6 minutes . . . should have waited a bit longer to let the coals burn down . . . Holy Mother of Pearl . . . used my good woodstove gloves and used another glove as a "pot holder" and I still burned one of my fingers. Wicked good steak though. Sorry . . .no pics while cooking . . . I was busy cooking up other stuff. DSCF4804.JPG

Wait  You cooked it ,in the stove or, on the stove ;? On the coals, or in the pan ==c

Take a piece of electrical conduit pipe and form it to fit over your pan handle. Slide it on and off as you need it. Saves your hand from getting burned whenever you remove the pan. been doing that for several years now, no uss, no fuss. Bon Apetit.

In the woodstove . . . in the frying pan . . . which was sitting on and around the hot coals.

I think I did a baked potato and some corn . . . or maybe it was some pasta from a box. I'm not that talented of a cook. ;)
