St criox versa grate

It's easier to get out when the plate is moved to the rear away from the igniter. Lift on the away side then wiggle. The igniter tube likes to patch on to one edge of it

The motor and cam move the grate rod, if the cam is all the way back, then you can remove with no problem. When the cam is to the front that is when the grate is below the igniter tube.

You can cycle your stove on and off to move the grate to the right spot...

When I shut my stove down for cleaning, I open the right hand door and watch the cam. When it's at the most rearward position, I hit the "off" button, and the VersaGrate stops there.

Failing that, after the stove cools, I leave the door open and (try to) start the stove. The VG motor will run while the stove is checking for vacuum. The stove will then shut down with a #2 error. If the grate hasn't moved enough, repeat as necessary.

When you're ready to really start the stove, just close the door and start normally. Works for me.

Try highlighting the desired text, then release the mouse button. I then get a balloon that says "quote Me". I click it, and the text shows up in the reply box.
