Have your sister order it online from that store and HD will deliver it for FREE. Seriously, anyone interested just needs to put the zipcode from that location/store into the HD website and order it and, whola - like magic it shows up to your door.

HD website for Olean store shows a price of $729.00 rather than $356.00.

Wow that is a low price for a new stove.

We have seen this from other HD/Lowes stores, online price is regular yet the sticker on the shelf shows the reduced rate. You could try calling the store and see if you could buy it from them and have them ship it to your local HD.

I don't have a place for it, but if anybody finds one I can order online for that price like I did for the 30, then I'm getting one.

I started a thread about a Cheap 30-NC at my local store ($600) and the response from BBart was that a single stove at a location will just be that stove.

When a store has the "Sale" online (Zip code dealio thread) then they shio right from ESW. Not that particular store.

So that 17-VL is cheap, but only that one (or more if in stock).

Last year I drove many miles to many different HD stores looking for that (elusive) stove and never found any store that carried them. And, when I called HD corporate customer service I was told that NONE of their stores stock that stove. They said it could be purchased online only. And, ESW informed me that because they (ESW) have no control over the way in which HD retails their (ESW) stoves, they too could not tell me of any HD stores that carried that stove. Been down this road before.

So I bought a new US Stove 1100b instead for $349.00. Works great and stores (not HD) actually carry it.

They likely have ( at least ) two in stock as the "in stock" under the $549 price changes to "limited stock" or "limited supply" when there is only 1. ( and there is either no other HD within 25 miles or the other stores within 25 miles have none as they would show up there as well)




I went to HD Sunday afternoon for a replacement water filter for my Simply Pur under sink water filter.
They claimed they didn't have any nor did they carry them.
Went home , looked up who has them locally near me and lo and behold HD has 27 single packs and 16 triple packs IN THE STORE I JUST LEFT.
So I ordered it online and picked it up at the service desk 2 hours later.
Got 5% in points shopping thru my discovercard, too that I wouldn't have gotten in the store.
