Looks good southern missouri logger! And welcome to Hearth.com and the Wood Shed. Check out the other forums as well. Lots of good information and people here. I like the stonehenge effect in the first pic. What are you burning in? How much do you heat? Sq.Ft., etc. What kind of wood do you generally burn? When you get a chance maybe you can add some information about yourself in your signature so we will know what kind of toys you have. ;lol

that looks like quite the beefy slab of concrete under those splits stacked on that porch.
Nice windbreak for the grill.
convenient too

SML, welcome to the Hearth.
Yep, I like the woodhenge.
Where ya at, what do ya burn, and in what do ya burn it.
Just so you know, we love pics, so you're more than welcome to share more of your setup and property, etc.....

Thanks guys. I'm in rogersville mo. I'll post more pics of my stacks and setup today. Yea the woodhenge is oak logs I split up. I'm burning mostly oak
In my little Ashley stove

Welcome to the forum SML.

You split like we used to. Good exercise for sure. How much wood will you burn there? Doesn't seem it should be too hard to heat but for sure you do need heat in winter. Never in summer!!!! Get's hot there.

Nice place you have there Southern Missouri Logger. Looks good. Those are some nice BTUs you have lined up there? What types of wood do you have there that is not processed yet?

gasifier thanks! i was hoping to get some id on some of the wood. I know white and red oak and cherry are in the mix. but if anybody knows what other types they see feel free to mention.

I do not know what you have there. I am not very good at identifying wood.

Welcome, I love your wood pics. Keep em coming at least once a week! ;)

welcome, I see that freshly split wood on the ground.... that's no good at all.... get that up on some scrap lumber, pallets, etc... anything to get it off the ground.. last pic has ash in it, the stuff with the green spots on the bark is ash. Looks like some elm in there too

Welcome.

Nice wood pics.

Welcome to the forum SML! A nice setup you have going there. I'm not far from you just outside of Ozark. How long have you been burning? I see some elm in one of the piles. Keep the pics coming!

Nice stacks
Noticed the stuff on the ground too. Not picking, just noticing LOL :)

Good amount of wood ready for winter. Getting any "winter" yet ?

Are you not concerned about how close you have those wood piles to your house or is that just storage for the winter?
