I have a Drolet Eco-45 and the blower motor started making a sqealing noise. I am pretty sure that I need to replace it. I am capable of replacing it myself but the way it was designed appears very flawed. It looks as though it is encapsulated between the air intake chamber and the exhaust chamber. Has anybody replaced the blower before and if so is there any special instructions to get the old one out and the new one in? I am wondering if there is something that I am missing here or is it is it just a poor design? Thanks for any feedback in advance.

i got about the same issue here what did you do ?

It's likely the fan blades have started to travel on the shaft and hitting the housing.

PM me your email and I'll send you the procedure to fix it.

Luc try this pdf file I received from Drolet. Unfortunately I already had my combex fan mostly dis-assembled by the time I received this info. Hope it helps.
