I just wanted to say good luck and hope all goes well for those in the mid-west/west. Hope all of you fare well with the cold and ice that is there and yet to come. I will be waiting in PA for my turn to come.

Cold day in the city today. We didnt get to much ice. just a little snow. It was 12 below at the house this morning, 71 in the house :)

Yup, looks like an expected low of 12 on tuesday, and a low of 7 on Wed.

I better get my a$$ moving on my fence posts. Concrete is not happy curing at 7 degrees.

thanks hd...it is 11* here and they are calling for 1/4" of ice and then snow on top of it. i hope they are wrong about the ice but my kids and i sure want some snow.

I have only burned one ton of pellets since around october, but I think next week I will make up for that, maybe even burn a little wood. Call me crazy but I like winter, and I even work outside 52 weeks a year!! :bug: I would like to see some snow this winter also. :)

A guy we do business with here e-mailed yesterday and added that the HI was -4 (Montana)

YIKES

We're sitting with 1/2" of ice under 6" of snow. It has really quieted down the roads around here. If the weather hasn't started happening yet, stock up now. And if it has, if you don't need to go out, don't bother.

<sigh> looks like golf again for me , im ready to see snow too, my golf game is actually suffering from a lot of play in a jacket, makes my swing flat, on the good side , wintergreen resort has started making snow as temps have gotten low enough to be able to keep it on the ground
