Worked on my grapple load today with the MS 250 using the "yellow" chain. Wow what a difference. This chain rips through wood. Thought I would share, hope some of you want to see these pics.

The big guy is a cherry. A very nice cherry that I almost want to make furniture out of, it seems so nice to just burn.
The rest was a big ole mess of white oak, ash, locust I think, and there was some cottonwood for sure.
All and all, I probably will not get anymore grapple loads. It is actually cheaper to buy green unseasoned oak split than random logs.
I guess I'm one of the few that "overpowers" for bar length. I run an 18" bar on my 460 and that is just about right. The 290 pulls it "ok" but it gets tiring in bigger logs working the saw to keep it from bogging.
