About 5 years old no problems till I tried to clean out the combustion blower.. Can you use High Temp RTV Sealant as the seal on this combustion blowers? my seal is bad and the seal I am sure is causing my stove to not burn pellets good anymore, I cleaned the blower out 2 times only to have the seal fall apart practically the last .I would think it would also make a better seal..

right now I need my draft on full to get a good burn without teh pellets stacking up and sooting.. course I did get new pellets but I am sure it s got to be this seal as they tried to piece it back together as they did not have one..

You can use hi temp silicon, But its a PITA to remove the next time you want to remove the blower. The litherm gaskets come off much easier.

Litherm also offers some noise dampening to help quite the blower down some.

I agree with the above 2 pigs......use a fiber-type gasket to help w/ noise. Eric at Kinsman Stoves (above) can give you a great deal on a pack of gaskets...give him a call.

Thanks guys, yeh that gasket does not provide any kind of cushion, at least the one that came with it does not, to thin..anyway I put the RTV on it and it's running great and it will peel off just fine, trying to get the Litherm gasket off clean is just as bad in my opinion.. if you got a deal let know how much and will consider you can PM me if you want..thanks again guys..

I put the RTV on and it started fine..then after about 2 hours or a little more ..Well all of a sudden got a new problem now the stove is burning fine then shut off by itself, at first had an error code 2, blew out the air hose and it was fine, Combustion blower started fine, it started burning pellets fine, then shut itself off with no error code ..first time it's ever ever done this and it is 30 below and our only source of heat..never failed us ever..

Need some suggestions..
