New Generation Durock vs James Hardie Cement Board

Went to Lowes this week to check on the New Generation Durock. I am well familiar with the old style Durock, but not the new style. Next to it was the James Hardie Cement Board.

I have plans on using the Durock, but just wondering if anyone has any knowledge on the Hardie-Board.

This will be to use under my new Woodstove installation.

Durock has a higher R value. Not sure what your hearth construction will consist of, but I know(I think) the 13 requires R2 for the hearth.

Right, the 13 requires a 2.0 R-Value under it. I'm planning on using 5 layers of the new Durock which is .39 R-Value each, which will give me 1.95 and I will get the rest with the Floor Tile.

Englander actually recommends Micore, but as some may remember a couple of months ago, I cannot find it anywhere local in small amounts.
