Customer reported his auger was jammed. I could not get the plate to slide without a pry bar. When I got it out this is what I found. Sorry I did not take a welder to this service call.

i seen something close to this once, the customer had been prying on his for a while and broke it 
i am not sure if they are soposed to come apart like this to be honest

It actually separated and jammed everything up. The slide would not move left or right. I forced it out and it has been welded. I head back out Saturday to re-install it.

Yes the top has the seem of both plates and pushes the pellets to the left side of the stove (facing it) causing the pellets to enter the feeder assy and fall into the auger tube then they get pushed into the bottom of the burn pot.
....did they try scraping the burnpot??- Status
