Englander shutdown problem

Hello,
I have a Englander 25 epi pellet stove. It's been running fantastic for the last five years until last week. Whenever i turn it off, everything shuts down in exactly 5 mins. I timed it with a stop watch.

This happens no matter what heat setting I'm at. I'm worried something is going burn up. I have to hit on and then off again to give it another 5 mins to cool down. It use to take 30 to 40 mins to cool down.

I have changed the control board and thermal wire to the exhaust blower. I'm tired of spending money on this.
Any ideas?

Since you ordered a new control board, we're assuming you spoke to Englander tech service......what did they say?
 
Englander tech service are the ones that sold me the new board and wire.. I installed them yesterday and stove still operates the same. It's Sunday so I can't call them.

They basically said that by changing both you will fix this problem.
 
Wow...used to take 30-40 for shutdown? I've never timed my EP but it shuts down fairly quickly. My old pdvc used to take about 45 mins. to completely shut down. I'm actually curious now and I'll shut mine down to see how long it takes.
 
Well it was longer than I thought, never paid too much attention to it....it clocked in at about 18 minutes from the time I hit off until it completely shut down.....probably should call ESW in the morning if you can.
 
My 10-cpm takes about 10-15 min from the time I hit off, or turn the stat down while on On-Off.
 
Crud in the works likely next to where the heat sensor is, or a loose sensor wire, or a bad sensor, or the sensor is loose where it attaches in the stove.
