Walked in to ask about what pellets they have he told me they have Clean Burn. I never heard of them but was told they were $9.00 a bag . Just laughed at him and left. OMG thats 450 a ton. are they crazy who in there right mind would pay that. Has anyone ever used these pellets? not like I am going to get them just curious.

they r crazy-- probably that ACE chain owned by that Costello's chain family--good but expensive.............

It makes me laugh a local guy here has omalleys for 180 a ton, and another guy 20 mins away has them for 260 a ton. So I understand exactly where you are coming from. It amazes me the same brand of pellets price diffrence from store to store.
The Ace in Central Square NY closed up, i wonder why

Well that leaves the guy selling them for $260 a $80 profit per ton. :Im assuming he bought them from the other guy.

I met up with my local hardware store owner at a big box stocking up for his store. but he never charged that kind of markup. I used to get a charge pad and fill my pockets and hand in the pad to pay. Had everything, including a couple 8 track players:)

The day I spend $9 a bag I'm going back to oil

If I have 9 bucks for a bag, I wouldn't even worry about the price of pellets.. Because I d be living on a tropical island!

By contrast: Went into my local "DoItBest" hardware, and found they had Somersets for 215/ton. Ya never know!
