Last night, I noticed a smoke smell in the house after getting the stove set for a decent burn.
Went wandering around the house a few times trying to figure out where I may have missed sealing things up.
Finally mentioned the smell to my lovely wife. She said she had opened the stove door to throw something in there and it was from that because she noticed some smoke.
I had the air all the way down, and the pipe damper closed quite a bit, and ....yep, you guessed it....she didn't open either when she opened the door.
It's the same thing she does when she adds wood (which happens so infrequently it doesn't occur to me she might).
Just venting a bit. hehehe
