sure, I have done mine twice just clean out old adhesive very
well and expect to be not running for most of a day
I used the gasket adhesive once and it was a pain in the butt for
me, then I used hi-temp silicone and it worked better

Pretty easy project for the average DIY'er. Just have a selection of scraping tools available....you have to get ALL the old silicone/adhesive out and make sure the surface is very clean (wire brush & acetone or alcohol) before putting new hi temp silicone on. Also, don't stretch the gasket while installing it.

Yup I did mine. Ordered the rope gasket from our own Kinsmanstoves here
on the forum. I used a dremel with a wire brush wheel to clean the gasket channel
and it worked very well.
