Pushin' 4 ton, weathers been cold house is hot.

2 1/2 tons so far. Heating with one stove & will probably use another ton to finish off the season. Last year by this time I had already burned 5 tons. We had the house insulated last April and wow what a difference.

Bag 150 in the hopper.

129 bags so far, I burn 24/7..only turn oil burner or LP fire place on when stove is shut down for cleaning, I use to go through 800 gallons a year in oil, now I'm lucky if I used 10. Tank still reads the same it did in October, 3/4 tank. I figure I'm gonna save around $2,000 this year.

Will be starting the 4th ton this weekend. Been below normal temps since Christmas. Storm left us with about 16 inches of work.

installed my boiler 12/1/12 burned 4 1/2 so far. the last cold spell it was just about 4 bags per day. My electric hotwater is off and indirect hot water heater is on... for the first time in a few years. I use electric in the summer and have been using it in the winter as i believe it is cheaper the oil even in the winter. we are heating twice as much area and keeping it much warmer as well. Next year I expect to burn 10 tons with my in (out) law apartment on the system.

3 tons down, I'm on my 4th. I started burning 24/7 around Christmas time. I'm pretty sure I'd be closer to 4 full tons had I not been paranoid about leaving the stove on while I wasn't haome.

65 bags left. I'm burning a bag a day this month but that number will go down in two or three weeks. I'm on schedule to burn my four tons for this year. If I have a few bags left over or have to use some electric heat during a chilly night or two in April, no problem. It's cold out tonight and the fire looks cheerful. We're still happy that we decided on a pellet stove.

Installed the stove on 1/17/13 and have used 37 bags since then. Very cold year but getting warmer! Averaging 1.48 bags a day or $5.56 a day $166.80/mo. Much better than my $450 electric bill.

Started burning 12/10/2012 93 bags,,, only one morning with the oil heat (forgot to fill the hopper before bed)

2 tons as of yesterday and no oil for space heating!

2 ton here and almost 2 cord....3 stoves (2 pellet and 1 wood).

Love it. House is 72* throughout. Wood eater is fully loaded for the night and the furnace is idling along... :)

College and teenage boy bring the pellet bags in from the garage. So I ask them to count and tell me how many bags we have left. They come in from the garage so I ask them,"how many bags we got left." They answer, " a S***load." Guess I'm doing OK.

very close to 3 1/2 tons burnt.
burnt 4 1/2 last year. have since sided, wrapped and insulated the house. and installed an oak halfway through last year.
i would really like to come in under 4 1/2 tons this year. but i dunno how that's going to pan out.

running on low tonight. but it's like 32 outside.
i could still come in under last year's total if we go to cycling temps sooner rather than later.

1.5 tons left out of 4

about 3 tons. had opened a ton last spring and burned about 1/2. then burned 2 tons. now about 1/2 through another ton.
3 tons more on standby.
