Roo:
Did you add in shipping?

Will I have to pay more for the mold & mildew created by the nice air tight shrink wrap? or is that just a perk of the deal.

Great! I always wanted my stove to smell like a Yankee Candle Outlet store.

At the Lowe's Blowout, I picked up a bottle of additive for Kerosene. $1,25 treats 70 gallons. I used K1 sometimes and do get a little stink, thought I' give it a try, if it's nasty I have a friend who sometimes burns kero-lamps. She'll like it, I'm sure.

I picked some of this up too, thinking it may reduce/change the startup/shutdown odor from a kero heater I use from time to time. It did make the kero smell a bit better in the can, but didn't do much else.

However, you'll notice it's just scented methyl alcohol, so it's doing much more than (supposedly) adding a scent. It's also doing for the kero what "dry gas" does for your car's gasoline, making any water in the fuel cruise through the system without causing any ill effects.

Great to know. It will add storage life? Old kero has that diesel odor.

Its not $29.95 a bundle anymore. The price has just increased.

HUH???? Care to explain. I realize you bought the bag, but why???

I just bought an anti-depressant for when you're sitting by the fire. It's called Iron City Beer. It always elevates my mood.

Well somebody bought it... It may be a coincidence, but check out the name of the winning bidder - who used the "Buy-it-now" option!

Presumably it isn't being marketed as fuel, but rather as sort of "large scale incense" I don't know what advantage this stuff would have over normal incense though, and the regular stuff costs a LOT less - even for the high grade fancy stuff....

Why you ask ?? Because, I buy and sell firewood. Ain't life just great !!

The worst one I ever saw was some knucklehead selling 3 lbs of pellets in large ziplock bags and calling them "fire starting pellets for your pellet stove". The bags were $10.00 each, which equates to $6666.67 per ton. The guy got offended when I sent him an email asking if each bag included a night alone with Shania Twain.

Not sure it'll do much for storage life unless you have an issue with water contamination. I also don't know what it'll do for the "old kero" smell, since I don't have any old kero around, although I bet it'll make it smell a bit better (or, maybe worse, like some really crummy vanilla/diesel/kero mix).
