Hey gang,

I'm getting inquiries about Winston Pellet Stoves from this site regarding the Owner's Manual, seems I might be one of the few people on God's green earth that has one'd like to get that posted ASAP but I just need to get it scanned so bear with me, it will get done. For right now, here's the fuel feeding specs:

Site members on this forum have an incredible base of knowledge and for this stove to work the owner has to do exactly what they told me:

CLEAN IT COMPLETELY

Brushing out the baffle plates and the heat exchanger area isn't going to do it, the stove has to come all the way apart, hopper removed, combustion fan assembly taken apart, draft damper assembly apart, heat exchanger removed, everything hand-washed back to like-new factory assembled condition. Trust me, I have literally hundreds of hours invested in my stove, be smart and spend a good 10+ hours doing it right or haul it to the dump, there's no cutting corners here. m-m

See how it starts on page 11 and goes to page 20, the last page?

Bet you're wondering what happened to pages 1-10, including the cover and table of contents.
I'm wondering too...
Shouldn't I be put in charge of other computer projects like plotting trajectories of LandSat and NavStar satellites?
I'm about overdue for a promotion around here......

So all the pages should be posted, not in order, some more than once, blah blah blah yada yada yada.....

Parts support / Info ~ try:

Edwards & Sons (Lucy, Vern)

540-249-4241 ........... said to have purchased all parts from Winston although I did get parts from a seperate individual at one point.

There are a couple things worth mentioning here. The "photoelectric sensor eye" .. Mine has one but it was never connected and I see no place for it to connect to. Since there is zero manufacturer or dealer support I'm at a complete loss for how it would connect &/or be used. It does run without it being connected. Then they mention: "thermostatic control knob" ~ Maybe mine doesn't work but it seems to do nothing, I've got "high burn" and "low burn" with the room fan blower control know being funtional only on low burn (as mentioned in the manual).

Mine has other issues aswell, after startup it will often shut itself down with the green LED light flashing. According to the manual this means: "an electrical problem" but since I'm alrerady on my second control board ($64 replacement) the individual I got it from days it's the very last one he knows of. This may be the death nail BUT in all resourcfulness we never say die around here, another programmable sequencer could be had but it wil not incorporate the built-in safety features the oem board had so: "USER BEWARE" of the liabilities involved with a stove that could run amuck if you're not around.
