Bought easy heat pellets and bashed them pretty good...............................
now after a few days and tweaking of the stove, they are actually putting out some pretty good heat.
they still have alot of debris in them and a tremendous amount of ash, but are keeping everything warm.
will get me through to next year.

Debris! You got Debris? What kind of debris? !!!

pieces of blue "plastic" compressed into the pellets and other little things, dirt? maybe?

nothing large that might jamb or cause damage and no metal

Yuck! Not so sure I would want plastic fallen into my burn pot. Wonder who make those?

I do not think it is enough to cause any issues, just around here for ther same price I can get Somersets and Hardwood Heat which are Hamers rebagged.
They are thier own brand made west of Columbus, Ohio so I thought I would try them being a local company. Even my wife reprimanded me she said "why would you buy a ton without trying a few bags, you are smarter than that" well I guess i am not.

easy heat pellets are not known for their quality so i would not be surprised if you found something unusual in them, small blue piece of plastic. From what i've seen though i think most of the blue little bits are from the blue pallets they use to ship all their pellets out on, i think they ground up some of these and added them in sparingly to their normal wood mix, i could definitely be wrong on this though, easy heat use to ship almost all their pellets on those blue pallets and they weighed two to three times as much as a standard pallets, but i hardly ever see the blue ones anymore...

The blue pallets are Chep pallets. They are made of pine. Chep does not sell the pallets but, mearly rents them out. They repair any damaged pallets that can be. It is illegal to sell Chep pallets in any form; whole, torn apart or ground up. Chep is very good a filing suit against anyone who tries to sell them as well.

I would have to imagine that the bits are plastic, and not pieces of pallets.
