Hey guys I've had my p43 for over a month now and we love it! My question for you is I seem to have alot of ash. I run my stove on room temp at 72 degrees all the time with the fan speed on high. The heat output is great i go through about a bag every 2 days give or take. Any ideas? Is this normal? ImageUploadedByTapatalk1362683747.643133.jpg

try another brand of pellets and see what happens. Looks ok to me.

A bag every two days? That`s extremely good. The pictures look exactly like mine. I pull the ash build up off the burn pot twice a day. Of course i`m burning those lousy dusty , high ash laden Lignetics. I swear never again.

Looks fine. The stove is operating as designed. Ashes are supposed to build up as they are and eventually get pushed off by the auger feeding fresh pellets. There is no need for you to manually push off the ash. If the ash were to be smothering your fire, that's when you would consider upping the feed rate.

Looks real good, you are on the right track !

looks like mine.. OK

Thanks for all the comments I burn the lowes green supreme pellets. I'm sure they are not the greatest but they work for me. I'm glad you guys think everything looks good. It's funny at like a 3-4 feed rate vs a 4-5 it doesn't seem to change anything. I get the same results. Therefore I'll leave it on the 4 feed rate. Thanks again guys. By the way anyone else here that has this stove, any hints tricks tips? This is my first pellet stove so any info would be awesome. I'm pretty handy and have a pretty good handle on the situation but I'm always open to new tips.

Mines the same

Looks good to me also. Try a few different bags of pellets. With a Harman you most likely won't notice much heat difference, but you may notice a difference in ash.

first year with the p43. i've burned about 15 different brands this year. my favorites were stow chow, greene golds and greene teams. just got some turmans to try out and i'm really liking them so far. depending on the pallet price, i think i've found next year's choice.
