At one time I heard that the were Lignetics but I don't know if theat's still ,or was then, the case.

Thought maybe Maine Woods, but not really sure with them being 100% Hardwood.

lol....I thought these were made by Hamer.......

Thats what I heard. Some Agways have been rumored to be NEWP's but they ain't 100% hardwoods either! My moneys on them being Hamers and they are a nice pellet IMHO.

May I ask how much?

There's a place on 202 in Lebanon, Me that carries these. A guy that works there said New England Wood Pellets. But he didn't sound 100% positive.

They are $255.00/ton. I would like to figure out what exactly they are because this place is 3 miles from home and will have them year around. They told me they were 80/20 but clearly the bag says 100% hardwood.

Green Supreme is NEWP correct?

Yes

If they are 80/20 mix then they be NEWP's. Not a bad pellet, But not as hot or as clean as the Hamers. NEWP's are pretty much middle of the road average ish, Where Hamers are up the the scale a few notches(actually quite a few).

Try some, You'll know if they are Hamers as they will blast lots a heat at ya. NEWP's not so much. If they are NEWP's head to HD-Lowes-TSC and get the Green Supreme's for less. Usually they fetch $209ish per ton.

Keep us posted. ;)

Where are Hamers from? I will ask the dealer if they can find out from the supplier whey are.

The Agway`s around here used to carry Dry Creek but that probably is meaningless.

NEWPS!!!

First thought was NEWP as well, but the 100% hardwood kind of nixed that thought

I burned agways last year and if they are the same ones I got they were junk imho. Lots of ash and not enough heat to justify it. However, they may be completely different from what I burned. I wouldn't commit to thirty tons until you try a few bags....as always...but I gave up on them after a ton. My experience may be completely irrelevant but just my .02.

Came home for Easter weekend to clean the stove after burning 20 bags of Green Supremes (which I will not do again) and an burning these mystery pellets now. Ran the stove on 3 for the last 24 hrs (burned 2 bags so far) and here are their pros/cons

Pros
Seem to burn very hot
Ash is pretty low so far

Cons
Bags are filled with fines/dust

Did you ask at store what they are or would they not tell you?

I'm not home right now but when I asked they really didn't know.
Even the Wife commented to me on the phone they are hotter than the Green Supremes
