Was driving through Miramichi New Brunswick Canada this morning when I saw a sign beside the road at a Stove dealer. It said closing out sale all week. It was the last day today so I didn't think there would be anything left but I went in anyways. To my surprise there sat a PE Summit 1/2 price. I couldn't pass it up. Got it for $1137.00 Canadian taxes included. Seemed like a good deal to me. Wife was mad but she'll get over it. Very happy at this time.

what a deal! is the summit the model that washes dishes and does the laundry and burns all year on three splits?
let me guess the color.....whorehouse red?

Tell the wife its her Valentines gift!

In order to see harmony return to your family life, I will be up to pick up the stove next weekend.

Is that American dollars or Canadian?

Edit: Oops my mistake, you already told us LOL.
Thats one hell of a deal. Grab me two or 3 :)

Whoa, jaw dropping price. Great that you got it! Post some pics once installed.

$1,137.00 CAD Canada Dollars = $969.764 USD United States Dollars

Holy chit! Thats a heck of a deal! Ya dont get much better than that.

Boy, what a gift!! Enjoy it! And maybe pass on the good fortune and give stove it will replace to someone in need!

Might be the deal of the season? Sometimes it pays to be lucky. I know a thing about wife approval and stoves.
When the home is warm and fuel bills reduced It's ok to pat yourself on the back and remind her of your wisdom

After loading that thing up as fast as I could, I would have driven to the nearest gas station and bought a lottery ticket...That was your lucky day!!!
