Ok that tells me I have an issue. I stuff the stove as full as I can at night 10pm, usually around 10 splits. When I wake up int the morning there's little to no coals 6am. The stovetop will be around 100 degrees.
I would say you have an serious issue if you load it that full and its at 100 degrees in the morning, this is driving me crazy trying to figure out what's wrong. What size are your splits?

I'm going to say my splits are about 5 to 6 inches, at least what I burn over night. I try to Burn bigger wood overnight. You think it's driving you crazy, I've been dealing with this For almost a year now, it's driving me insane!

This is the size I try to keep my splits.

I have a 1 year old lopi liberty that I believe is over drafting. When The stove is burning I can hear and feel the stove pulling in a large amount of air. I can't get the stove to burn more than 6-7 hours and it seems like heat output should be a lot better. When I close down the air control all the way the flames don't seem like they slow down as much as they should. I covered both the front and bottom air ports with a glove and I get the lazy flames I'm looking for. The dealer said I may need to put a damper in my pipe. Any ideas or help?
At what temps ( Stovetop & pipe) do you start shutting it down?

Typically my pipe temp is around 200 stove top 3-400. My Stove pipe is telescopic,it's not true single wall. I'm assuming temps are higher than it reads.

Have you ever taken one washer off the inside of the handle so your seal is better?

Yes I actually put a new door gasket on this season. I tried taking a washer out but it was too tight. I've also tried the dollar bill gasket check.
