Does anyone know if there is any known problems with a harman p61 built in 2006. I am looking to purchase a harman p61 with a manual start. Also what is a fair price for this model? The seller says there is no problems and it runs great. Is there any thing I should look out for? Tips?
Thanks
Tom

Make sure it runs as it should and for a unit that old, I would be in the $1,000 range. Preferably less than $1,000 though.

What do they want for it? Any extra options? Trim? Tile insert? Etc?

To be the first I must say, read the owners manual and clean your stove.

Eric.

I have a P61 that had a test date from 1998 that I bought on craig's list. Just do a thorough cleaning and if it's not making any strange noises you should be good to go. Plenty of info on YouTube and the Harman site. Also read "How Your Harman Works" on the top of the forum plenty of good info there. If you have any questions don't be afraid to ask plenty of good people here to help. Good Luck with it.

I really don't know are you getting any venting with it? How was it used?

IMO it does sound like a high price.

You should see a lot of deals in April and May

Hi, the 2006 P61 had a different burn pot with holes drilled in down near auger. They had a tendency to burn out. Harman has a repair kit for this ( they are off warranty now).
Great unit just check the burn pot first.
