Went out today with the pooch to split up some more cherry rounds I've been piling up. Got a pretty decent amount split today. The cherry is the second pile from the left, this particular tree was no real joy to split! While I was working away I had a nice group of white tails stop and be nosy at a surprisingly close distance. Sorry about the picture quality I took it with my cell.

I have about 4 more trees to buck up and split then I'm done cutting!! Thinking I'll will have to lock my saws in a vault that I don't have a code for to see if it helps make me stop :) To answer your question, yes I will be stacking it all this spring.

You're not stopping, no matter what obstacles you have to overcome to get your wood fix. At this point, you can't see the forest for the trees. Just give in and go with the flow; It'll be a lot less stressful. ==c

Unlike George Washington you REALLY cut down the cherry tree!

This is some pretty nice weather for working on the wood piles. Enjoy it FireBones.

Lookin like 8 or 9 cords there. You know that spring stacking will mean SPIDERS!!! Better you than me there!

Unfortunately the Canadian education systems teaches basically nothing of the USA 's history so that joke flys right over my head :(
