I have a baby magunm pellet stove that keeps on shutting off by itself. I have cleaned it multiple times and it keeps on happening. I dont know if maybe my stove pipe end is not correct where wind is blowing down it causing it to shut down. Its not running out of pellets I have check that. Please help.

Heat level lights 1 or 2 or 3 blink on and off to show the error. Does one of those lights blink?

DIAGNOSTICS:
If the proof of fire switch does not close after 15 minutes, the board will shut down
the igniter, auger feed motor and put the unit into a shut down mode. The # 3 led
light will flash indicating that the proof of fire switch did not close. If the air pressure
switch opens during operation at any time, the system will auto disable the auger
motor and/or the igniter if during start up and the # 2 led light will flash indicating
that the air pressure switch is not closed. This will initiate a shut down mode. As of
5/1/07 the following error lights have been added to the DC control panel. Bad auger
motor is a #1 led light will flash and shut down the system,
igintor drawing to many ohms a #4 led light will flash but system will comtinue to work but must be checked, high limit switch opens a #5 led light will flash and shut down the unit. If the start up mode fails during the AUTO T-STAT mode, unit will shut down and require toggling
(on/off) of T-STAT to restart.

As Don said, what light is on at shutdown? How long after you light fire?
Have you tried to "jump" the POF snap or vac switch??

How would you jump the POF snap and or Vac switch. It has only happened 3 times and the fire has been running for at least a few hours.
If its dying after the fire is long established, then I would think vacuum issues.
When was the vent and termination cap last cleaned? When did you last clean the vac switch line and barb on stove?

I am still new to the pellet stove world so what is the termination cap and vac switch line and barb. Can you explain these to me. Thanks
Termination cap is the cap on the end of venting. The vacuum switch line, is the hose that goes from vac switch to stove and the barb is the ends that the line/hose connects to.
Was this a Used stove? If so, what have you cleaned? There is a Horseshoe area in the back wall of stove that is a Pain in the A$$ to clean. Its vital to the stoves operation.

Yes I bought this stove used. I have cleaned my venting pipe the two fans and inside the two horsehoe sides. I stuck a garden hose up each side and cleaned it out. I have not touched the vacuum switch line. Where is this located and do you have a picture? Thanks

Get a copy of the manual and locate the vacuum switch using the exploded parts diagram and then you can locate the vacuum hose and the stove side barb from there, do not blow towards the vacuum switch or stick anything into the barbs of the vacuum switch it is easy to destroy that switch that way. If you don't have a manual download it from the stove makers web site.
The area that Dexter mentioned really takes a lot of work to get totally clean.
If you can get to your venting from outside of the house easily, do a search on the forum for leaf blower trick.

While unusual, a sustained wind blowing in the right direction (If your exhaust vent is horizontal) while the stove is running on low (setting#1) can pressurize the firebox enough to open the vac switch. During one of our nor'easters, I had this happened. I heard the stove go into shutdown mode, checked the control, saw the blinking light and knew what it was. Hit the on-off button and was back in business. This has only happened once.
Do you have the standard 3 foot vertical rise in your venting? Is it inside or outside?

A thorough cleaning of the Horseshoe, clean vac switch line (stove end), and also check to see what combustion blower the stove has.
The Baby has air flow problems from jump street. There are 2 Mods that can be done to lengthen the cleaning time of the pot. The airwash mod and burn pot mod (if you are using the stainless corn pot).

They use a plastic POF switch in the heat path. They get brittle and open up when the stove gets hot bet ha of you wiggle and pull on the leads the thing will crumble into a bunch of pieces. Look there first. Here is the way to tell, when it shuts down, if the burn pot is empty and clear its either a vac issue or feeding issue such as motor or bushing, if the pot has charred pellets it's a POF issue. These stoves have lots of "issues" so I could be wrong on both counts but most likely not.
