went and looked at a Quadra-fire pellet stove today. Wife said now she thinks that would be better who knows before she wanted wood burner.
if we go pellet is it better for the exhaust to go up or through the wall. costs less to do the wall but what works the best?

What is the problem with installing a 24" wide stove that requires 13" side and 4" back clearances like the Lopi Endeavor in that space?

With a pellet stove you want to go up before going out if possible. If the power fails that will help it vent naturally while the fire dies out.
