We averaged 72 to 76 f on 4.5 tons, 2200 sq feet heating area in the common living areas. How did you do?

I got up early this morning and threw the stove on to take the chill off. A while later wifey got up and came down and said "why is the stove on?" I said huh? I guess she thinks we are done burning for the season! She never said that during the cold season! Women....can't live with them....can't kill them...lol

Well parts of my house are 70+ parts are 62ish depends where you sit. Went through about 5 tons. Probably go through about another 5-10 bags still.
One stove full time and basement stove intermittent use. Combusted approx. 4 ton. Heating 2k sq ft. 3k counting basement. Still burning here....

Just about 3 ton and 2.5 cord. Average temp between 72*-75* and love it. Heating 2,180 Ranch, but when using wood eater and pellet furnace about 3,000 sq ft.

Will have used about 3 ton of shells by seasons end.
We are seeing temps likely aproach 70F this week, but the nights are still cold, getting into the upper 30's F
We wont be totally finished with the stoves until early June.
Last year we had "Juneuary" and it was cold and wet through the second week.
We have been running only the small stove over the past week.
Today is supposed to warm into the 60's F so I might shut the stove off for the day while we are gone.
Only takes a short to warm the house up when we get home, heck, I could fire both Whits and have it toasty in 30 minutes.
Stove season is indeed coming to a close in the next few weeks.

I thought it was pretty much over too. I put about 1/4 of a bag in Friday night. Woke up to a chilly house and a stove complaining it was out of pellets! I guess my stove is still hungry!!
Over the years, I have picked up a few hints (form this forum) on what I can do to protect my stove for next year's season.
These may help assure your stove is in good working order, protected from power surges, rust and insects nesting,
1, Unplug it! Better than any surg protector from thunderstorms.
2. Clean it. Every surface you can get at.
3. Check and replace gaskets as needed.
4. Put damprid in the stove. I put it in the hopper, in the burn pot and in the ash bin.
5. Plug the flue and the outside air, then write a note and put it in the burn pot to remind you to uplug the flue before you do your next burn.
6. Be true to your Pellet Pig brothers. Shop around and put away as many pellets as you can. Don't be caught short if the prices spike or supple gets low. I you find some good pricing, consider posting them in the Wood pellet pricing report thread at the top of the pellet burners page.

Used 5.5 cords between Halloween and beginning of March, then ran out of wood. We were cold (or burning oil to keep up) whenever outside temps dipped. Most of the problem was four windows left without storms for the winter (under construction), a complete lack of weather stripping on 26 windows + 2 doors, and zero insulation in our framed kitchen addition. We hope to address all three of those issues this summer, although the kitchen insulation may be furloughed another year.
