I was pulling the blower off the back of my Lopi 1750 and this fell out. It doesn't seem to be part of the blower.

It looks like some sort of clip, but I see anything there that needs clipping!

I thought maybe one of you might have seen something similar.

Thanks!

I've see this on other stoves. One usually can adjust them for the low fire but looks like this one won't but I'd still look on the inside to see if there might be a screw for adjustment.

I was wondering if it was a pressure spring for the thermostatic snap switch?

I think the snap switch is attached to it's own pressure spring. It's connected to a piece of metal that you bend to the dimension between the firebox and rear shielding, and are then instructed to "wedge it between" these two surfaces.

Maybe there's a way these two things connect, but it's not immediately apparent if that's the case.

I was thinking maybe it was something to hold the rear shielding in place, but I don't see any way it attaches to that either.

it is a clip that holds the wires to the snap-stat in place
Thanks for the reply. I'm not sure how that would work. Do you happen to have a diagram or something that would help me understand how they work together?

Thanks again.

Not sure if this is the part, but here is the diagram from the manual.

No, that's the snap disk assemblage. I've got that sitting in my car right now waiting for the new thermostat from the dealer.

Although, now that I've pulled the thermostat and just wired the blower directly to the rheostat, I've really been enjoying being able to just turn it on whenever I choose. I think the optimal setup would be to be able to turn it on directly, and then have the thermostat able to shut it off if/when the box temp drops below a threshold. Thus far, I'm not smart enough to figure out how to make that so.

Thanks again.

Try looking for a latching/sequencing relay. A quick mcmaster carr search didn't turn up what I was looking for but there are probably other sources. Another option is to use a time delay relay. Either way you'd need a momentary switch to turn the relay on.
Good luck
