Can't go right with a stove they won't submit for EPA or UL certification. ;lol
 
I just checked out the web site: www.maderightstoves.com

Their biggest stove only weighs 195 lbs with a 6 cu ft box! I don't like to think what happens when you put 6 cu ft of wood in a stove weighing under 200 lbs. I bet it would be neat to watch those aluminum fins melt though.
 
Yeah. I was thinking six cubic foot beer can. And the heat radiation would be enormous. Six feet from combustibles might do it.
 
Last year a guy at work was telling me about an aluminum stove he heard about I laughed and told him that was crazy theres no way that could work. I still don't think its a good idea but at least now I know he was right there are aluminum wood stoves out there.
 
Wow advertising a stove sitting on carpet! Smell a lawsuit coming on that one.
 
I'm none too impressed with their exaggerated claims and statements on their website . . . a lot of claims . . . not a lot of facts to back them up.
 
It's pretty obviously a creosote generator, but may be a decent heater while it lasts. I'm sure the stack robber option doesn't help. Caveat emptor, the eBay price is $200 higher than buying direct from the dealer's website.
 
The heat fins aren't going to do near what they think they are/can.. they are attached with rivets or something.. The laws of thermodynamics say the "heat" isn't going to jump the gap. It will cross, but as radiated energy.. the same as the rest of the stove... Unless they used a bunch of thermal paste or something under them..
