Mulberry is a very good burning wood However....A couple years ago I had a cord or two stacked with my other wood and found that Stinkbugs love to winter over in it. The oak, maple or any other wood that was stacked near the mulberry had a few but, the mulberry was loaded with the creatures.....JMTC
 
Beautiful! Snap, crackle, pop! You'll love it. No mistaking the deep rusty color on that wood- but split it again and you would see that bright yellow again. I would always take Mulberry if offered it. Great stove chow.
