I've been tempted to do that many times, but I'd spend a bunch of time doing so.
Lots of folks around here heating with wood, and some even have it already stacked for this coming winter.
There'll be more come August/September, or so.

I've been rubbernecking woodpiles for years. But mostly looking for ideas for a woodshed. I like to see how other people do things. That pile looks like about 4 cords.

I like to see how people do things too. I see so many people in my area stacking wood incorrectly....bulk wood just going to waste...but there are a few nice set ups...
One of my favorite parts of going on vacation is the ride....cause I'm looking all over the place for standing deads, woodstacks, nice fireplaces on houses, backyard firepits and such........
