That's way more saw than most people need or can handle.

My shoulder bothers me if I cut all day with my 460, I can't imagine lugging something like that around.

Yogi are you still going to buy my 372xp ?

Not if I get a better buy on an 084!!!

What ever became of the 084? Those things go for good money on eBay, so if it could be had for a fair price there could be some money to be made flipping it. Plus they are great milling saws since they also have manual assist in addition to the automatic oiler, a feature that Stihl unwisely dumped on the 088/MS880.

Everybody should have a big saw or two, if only to rip large rounds into manageable pieces and not have to pass up great firewood on account of its size.

So what happened? You buy it or not? How much did it go for? If it went for $300 or under someone got a steal of a deal.

tru.dat

My beast of choice is a Jonsereds Model 90.

I didn't get the Stihl, no idea of what of went for, it was stolen and recovered. Now and again I get an opportunity to bid
on salvage, if there are any decent looking saws I'll put a pic out here jic someone is interested and we'll work something
out.

I might have some tax money burning a hole in my pocket shortly

Looks like as soon as Yogi gets his tax return he's going to take it.
