Does anyone have "The Elm" woodstove? I saw it in my book from 1980, and it looked pretty interesting. I Googled it, and there is a fellow that restores them and sells them and parts. I was just interested to hear your experiences with them, both good and bad. Thanks!

Not much to it, A heavy barrel with a Pyrex pie plate inserted as the see-view door. It was kind of cute, but not buying today. Need a new glass door? go to Walmart.
I read this piece by Bill Macy and his Elm a few weeks ago.
Makes me want to head for the woods-and build a cabin for me and the Mrs.
But I do wonder about skinny dipping in Vermont.
Don't they have black flies and mosquitoes and the like?

What was that commercial a few years ago? I liked it so much I bought the company! Well, I have worked on some significant improvements to the air intake system, and see a cleaner burn. Not that it was not clean previously, but I often see nothing but heat waves from the chimney.
