So My wood Guy dropped some rounds today while I was out. He has been really good to me so Im not goign to ask him to come back and get them. I have no problem with him doing that but these are huge maple rounds(4-5ft across) that I can not process myself as I don't have a splitter. Or if I can it will take weeks, and they are sitting in my driveway. There is a cord maybe more. Im willing to give it totally to someone if they want to do all of the work of processing, or split it 75%(you)/25%(me) if you want a hand with processing.

It will need a splitter for sure.( ill supply gas for your splitter) Anyone interested?
Here is a pic, it is already dark Ill get better ones tomorrow.

Yes I measured 48-60 inches across......
I know its fuzzy but that is a car in the background about 20ft away from the rounds.

Can you be more specific on your location?

Sorry Didnt think about that White Lake near Clarkston

I am interested, but not sure how soon I could do it. If it was just a pick up and go I could do this weekend, but to get those manageable would take more time than I have now. If you find someone great, if you still need them gone mid July I'm in.

Thanks

I would like to have them gone by next weekend if at all possible but ill let you know.

Hay Augie
You asked and you did receive :)
That's a heck of a thing ! to have to much dang wood ;lol ;)
Sledge n wedge
What kinda Maple is it ? Is it green or ? Is it cut to length ?

Green, Smells Like Sugar Maple. Sledge and a wedge is what it is looking like unless I get some help. My brothers wedding is this weekend so Im SOL on getting anything done anytime soon too..

I could bring my electric but, a vertical splitter is what would be best , even then at 4-5ft across , I would think U would still need to bust some up just to move em, 35" is biggest I have ever dealt with.
Well , your going to be tied up and hung over, this weekend
Bachelor party, see who is man enough to bust em up ;)

Come on someone needs some wood im sure;?

Looks like a a nice scrounge for someone. It's just a little too far out of the way for me to justify the gas or I'd help clear it out.

Im just off M59, 11miles from US23, not too far

Those rounds would not be difficult to split at all. Too many folks look at the big stuff and think it can't be done without a splitter. Not so! Suck it up Augie and split those suckers. I recall just a short time ago when you were looking for wood and even got some that was already put up. Now you have some good stuff and want to give it away! Time to get busy.

Backwoods, while true, I feel it rude to my neighbors that they will sit in the driveway for a couple of weeks as Im booked for a while. Hence the offer to give it away

Hum. I'm not trying to be nasty at all Augie. However, I don't understand how that would be rude to a neighbor.

If I was closer Augie, I'd come up with the splitter and help you knock them into more manageable pieces. But you're WAAAAY out of the way from where I'm at....

Anyone in your neighborhood that'd loan you a hydraulic horizontal/vertical splitter??

Dont think you are, I live in a sub, although no real "rules" I try to keep the front yard clean ish.
