But wait, their is more!

In addition to the 066 for $20, I picked up a pair of 028's that run for $30. Though one has a broken rear handle and the other is missing a brake handle.

Good deal on that chain. How much was the saw?

That Is the steal of the week!!

I think it would have started on the second pull. I tried one pull on full choke and it popped. Flipped the Master Lever up and it popped again and almost ran. Checked the lever and it had gone to the 2nd position by mistake. Made sure it was on high idle and it started right up. :)

That's all I've had time to do with the saws so far. Got to tear it apart to check it over and clean everything right.

Is that all the guy was asking or did you "beat him up'
Usually I try to start negotiating at about 1/2 of asking price. But this time I met the guy in the parking lot of a Free Masons convention. Once he started one of the saws guys wore drawn to his tail gate like flies to vinegar. There was 10 guys around the saws before I knew it.

Couldn't risk someone else offering more so I got the money out quick, said they look good grabbed the 066 first and headed back to my car!!!

So you were actually going to **** him for $10 for that stolen saw? ::P

Just dont know what to say??? Dont think it was stolen or he was a crack head (he had a car and drove it??) but even someone stealing stuff knows that they could get $75 for it!!!! I mean thats unreal

I have no concern that it was stolen. Just an older guy cleaning out his barn. He was the deputy grand pooh bah or some such of the local masons.
