I grabbed a broken limb bigger than that off a crab apple that was lying on the sidewalk 4 houses south of me in February.Carried it home, the twigs were kindling, everything else went in a bag for the smoker.

Sounds great! I can do all the heavy lifting by myself and help her pay for air conditioning, lol.

Firewood Partner Wanted - with splitter (Sacramento)

Hi, I am a disabled woman with a few ideas on how to make money! I have a truck, and a great cart - I see all the time ads for Free Firewood Rounds on Craigslist.

Listen, I can supply the SALES and Marketing Efforts, I have The Personality and the cart to sell firewood SPLIT and DELIVERED by YOU if you are the right person.

And since I am disabled I have the time to be at home to answer calls, schedule deliveries and post ads on Craigslist and handle the accounting side of matters. I already have a valid business license in California.

Here is the ideal match:

1. Must be able to pass a background check - I will pass mine, I expect someone will pass theres too....
2. You must have a place to SPLIT (and have a realiable wood splitter!) and STORE THE WOOD that WE go Get to sell. You see, I no longer have a house - I live in an apartment so Im looking for someone with room (like some young person still living at home with their parents)

3. YOu must have a valid drivers license - and insurance that you can prove to drive my car (I can drive too - Im a good driver)

4. This is assumed, but I must be able to trust you with money - I am looking at this as a fair enterprise - in other words, I would like to partner with people that can do some work in exchange for a fair part of the profits, after our very real (and documented) Expenses. I am very good at keeping records, costs, profits etc.

so, let me get this straight......she wants to do a little "pushing" on the phone, and keep track of a couple records. The OTHER partner in the business has to go out and get the wood, bring it to HIS/HER house, process the wood into rounds, SPLIT the wood with HIS/HER splitter, stack and dry the wood at HIS/HER residence, load the wood onto a truck or trailer, deliver it and unload it at the buyer's residence, and they are expected to be fair with the money? Sounds like the lions share of that money should be going to the partner, not the craigslist lady........

That's a unique advertisement, thanks for sharing.....
