So its' been two years since it was last cleaned (I know, I know, just forgot. Won't happen again). I asked the sweep what kind of crap he got and he said about 3 cups of light brown powder. He stated "You must burn pretty hot." I said Yep, typically 550-650 degrees F.

So the Freedom is ready for another season.
 
As long as the burn stays the same, I'd consider keeping the 2 year cleaning schedule with a yearly check.
3 cups isn't a big deal after 2 years, IMHO.
How tall is the whole shebang?
 
Ya, you did really good Mike. We're 4 years since our last cleaning. Probably will do it soon though but I haven't checked it since last fall. It did not need cleaning then and burned just fine all winter. I don't expect to get much but it don't take us but about 10 minutes to do the job.

Not quite sure on total chimney height, house is a typical colonial, with an 8/12 pitch. Maybe 25 - 30'?
