This is Casper.

Casper went into the woods and found the swampy area.
This,...is the result.
He did this for several days about 3 weeks ago, but doesn't much lately.
We took him to a nearby lake (one of many) for the first time and he didn't want to get out.
Definitely a water dog.

Looks like he's all mudhound.

Labs... Can't live with 'em, can't live without 'em...

Just put the 3rd dose of flea and tick stuff on him (and the rest of 'em too) a couple days ago, and now he's got a black streak down his back.
He likes dirt and mud and deer crap.
Deer crap is, evidently, THE most fun thing in the world to roll in if you're a dog.

Mine looks like she dipped the tip of her tail in white paint. Almost called her Van Gogh.

I'm not sure fish smell is much better:eek: Our old lab and newf had to roll in the sand just after they got a bath. The newf would later bring his soggy, sandy self into the hallway so he could build sandcastles ;lol

I hear ya LG.
Our Newfie is gone now, but she brought more sand into the house than any 3 of the rest of us.>>
We live on sand. Dennis knows. Probably sweep up a couple lbs. of it daily, even now that she's gone.
I'm surprised the yard isn't gone by now.;)
