In The Woods
When we started out the weather looked suspect, we had seen the forecast for the day so we launched.

I never did any fishing, just decided to get some R&R. The first two pics are after we launched the boat, 7586 is Felton Brook that comes into Carry, 7587 is just to the right of Felton Brook, you can see how high the water was, the other pics are from the rest of the day.

Pics 7589 & 90 are a nice little bass spot once you get back in,7593 & 94 are the small island we spent time on talking & eating.

Glad you and the Mrs got out for some R & R. We all need that from time to time.

BD, we counted a total of five boats when we were out, most were fishing not catching.
FP, the island is perfect for just hanging out. They're two islands, the one across from this had some campers who stayed overnight.
Loon, some cooler weather would be nice.
We had a nice time, when we were sitting on the island the wife had a good laugh at my expense, all about a seed growing in my lung turning into a tree, something about finding the moisture content with the moisture meter.!!!

Loving those pics, brother......looks like the Big Man Upstairs blessed you with decent weather for the trip......and the water level looks like it's A-OK this year!!

Zap, it's nice to see that you do relax once in a while. Looks like a beautiful spot.

Beautiful water and scenery. Definitely looks peaceful.

That is freakin beautiful.

I might be heading to the St.Lawrence River in the next couple of weeks for some walleye fishing, if we have an east wind then the trip will be called off.

Some big fish in the St.Lawrence River, it's been a few years since I've been down but it should be fun. The freezer is empty of any type of fish so if the first trip works out then there will be a second.
