need a new trailer....

Ouch. Looks like you've got two choices: some quality time with the welder, or a new trailer.

Considering the size of your tow vehicle, why not go with a new trailer that is a bit bigger? Maybe 5x8-5x10, heavy-duty?
 
Yeppers , that trailer let you know whats up. I agree with a new trailer that is designed for the job.

BTW, I'm glad I wasnt driving behind you with my family or just myself.

Definately is time to either "get familiar with a welder" or go out shopping for a new trailer.
