Welcome to the site! Nothing like taking some of the week's frustrations, angers, and even extra energy out on a few rounds!

Thanks everyone for the welcome and warm words. Really enjoying this site much. I had collected a truck bed full (8 ft. bed, 2000 GMC Sierra 1500) of assorted wood along the roads here, some ash, maple, beech, some other very dense wood couldn't identify. Reckon it turned out to be about half a cord, maybe a little more. I cut and split about 10 cord this year so far, that will keep me warm at least 2 seasons, maybe three, but that wont stop me from my appointed rounds. The power company a while back had contracted a company to cut a lot of wood near power lines because last year's hurricane really did a number on the area. So I tooled out one day and just collected it up. There was some more that I was going back for but when I returned somebody had snarfed it up. Always on the lookout for free fuel, even better when it's already cut. Some I had to halve or third, but what the heck.

One more welcome to you.

Sounds like you are in pretty good shape. Three years ahead really rocks!

Where in Maine if I may be so bold to ask?

Yes NY and Maine. I prefer Maine. Here's a pic of typical sunset in Maine
I love those colors. Never growing tired of seeing them. That sunset only last a few minutes. Good picture.
