mwp are the only ones of those i have direct experience with.
they are a good serviceable pellet with good heat output for the money.
never had clinkers with them. low ash by weight. but high by volume.

what kind of stove do you have? i know at least one member here with a harman burns the mwp blend and is happy with them.

my stove doesn't have the same performance as the harman. and i am trying some softwoods in the hope of getting enough extra heat output that i can run on lower settings and feed rates when it's really cold. meaning -10 to -20 degrees.

but i did stay plenty warm with the mwp blend when i used them. just had to run on high sometimes.
if i can't find a high enough heat softwood pellet that i can get delivered, i will go back to the mwp blend.

The ? is, anybody burning?

I know I would not pay more for for GS or Maine Choice than MWP. I have not seen/tried American Heritage, They maybe worth a shot?

They had some Maines Choice for 210 and Greene Team for 275 so I went with a couple ton of each. I think the GT were over priced but decided to do it. Probably should have went with all Maines Choice.

Then hard to rate this years pellets.

I still wouldn't expect much difference from these to last seasons. Not unless there was a major process change at the mill. Fiber variance if any.

They could even be last seasons pellet for all we know!

I'll bet it's new stock. MWP also sells to Jackson Lab. They grind it to dust and shoot through a nozzle. Should be easy with MWP.
