Just wondering if anyone has seen any pellets yet at Long Island box stores? If so, what are they carrying this year and how much?

Lowes in bayshore has pellets not sure what brand and for 210 a ton you can check there web site and it will tell you the quantity in the store just go to the wood pellets and then change stores and it will show you there inventory.

The Lowes in Riverhead has North American. I was not impressed last year. Home Depot has none in the Riverhead store yet. I am talking to the ACE hardware store in East Hampton hoping they can be persuaded to sell Wood Pellets. I noticed on this site Ace was selling Lignetics in upstate NY. I have never tried them but they get a pretty good report. I will report on what happens. Agway is selling Agway pellets and they are lousy. I wish Lowes would get back to the Somersets.

Home Depot also has pellets listed on their website this year. They advertise Pest-o-Logs on the website but the actual brand(s) vary by store. The closest Home Depot to me that had inventory is the one on Jericho Tpke in Commack. I payed them a visit over the weekend and bought 6 tons of Stove Chow @209 per ton + $85.00 delivery charge. Now I'm ready for the season!
