I use the same ceramic stove top cleaner that I use on my electric range.

Only when stove is off and glass is cool tho...

There really is nothing special about glass cleaner and you can use anything to clean your glass and it will work. Even plain water will get it done. I prefer to dip a damp paper towel in the ashes and scrub the glass clean which takes about 30 seconds to do. But you can use baking soda water, vinegar water, ceramic cleaner, the cheap glass cleaner or the expensive glass cleaner. Windex has ammonia in it but I don't think it has enough to harm the glass. Had someone use it to clean their stove glass for 10+ years without ill effect.
