Had my camera out this evening . . . figured I might as well take a few pics of my ugly stacks and the ugly wood in my woodshed. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, right?

The beholder was a carpenter, and I say your stacks look awesome. How much do u typically burn in a "normal" season? Looks like your well ahead.

Thanks. Just what I needed. Another reminder of how little wood I have.

Oh this winter's was in the shed in April. And next year's is on the stacks. Just the first time in recent memory that years three and four weren't done.

Old ya see, and not a Backwoods Savage. >>

Those stacks look purty to me. Guess you got this coming winter covered.

I don't see a single ugly thing in those pictures. I do see a whole lot of good work and TONS of potential energy. Good job!

I figured it out last year and I would guess it was between 4 1/2-5 cords. The woodshed holds about 10 cords so I've got this year's wood and next year's wood in there . . . and the wood for 2015-2016 is outside in the stacks. This Summer I slacked off a bit on the processing since I am so far ahead . . . but that said whenever an opportunity for easy wood has presented itself I have grabbed some.

Beauty is all around us, even in your wood stacks. Yes, that one stack leaves a bit to be desired, so take 2 Moxie's and try again in the morning.

As long as you can get to this winter's wood, you have it made. Looks better than most that I have seen.

Beautiful Jake!

Nice Jake. I know it took some work to get that much ready. Its a good feeling to just be able to grab the easier wood.
