I have no experience with the unit but have seen it at trade shows. It's very reasonably priced for a wood range. The material is thinner than what you would find in an upscale range such as Elmira Stove Works, ESSE or Heartland. But I have no doubt it would perform well.

Don t know much about this stove, although it really looks good. The company is a good sound canadian company that has been around for awhile. Nothing fancy but they are dependable.

I just had the Cusinerie installed in my 600 sq ft log cabin, off grid near Burks Falls, Ontario. Replaced a 1930's McLarey wood stove which was pretty rotted. This stove, plus an old Fischer Grandma bear keep us from freezing when we spend weekends at cabin during the winter.

Pretty stove, much better heat now..

did you ever decide on what stove to go with? i am planning to buy a new woodcookstove..since the ones i am interested in are never found used....would love to have an ESSE Ironheart...but not sure how to get one from the states and the only place that sells them in canada is in B.C...and they never have responded to any of my inquiries...
we live in Tatamagouche, n.s...and i had previously a Margin Flameview Heater..( great beautiful stove..heated our whole house and you could cook on top and it had a gorgeous warming oven...but no cooking oven..)
have just spotted a new j.a. roby cuisineire...and saw your thoughts...did you get one? does anyone ahve one and can tell me their thoughts on it...i know it may not be made as heavily as a Esse or Margin..but just wondering about performance...
