So it got down to 47 this morning and i had a small fire in my T5... just replaced baffle and door gasket couple of weeks ago. burning locust and cherry this morning and it is doing awesome, got the house a little too warm but it was good to get back in the groove... this is a great and easy to operate stove... Good times

Yeah, we're almost ready to fire it up this morning also....the temps were right, but I swept the Chimney yesterday, and didn't clean out the stove and put the firebrick back together....I don't mind the brisk mornings...the Wife on the other hand, not so much

Its still a little too warm in MD to fire up. But I can't wait to get back into burning again. I feel we are finally going to have a cold and snowy winter this year.

Teutonicking, how do you like your Huskee splitter, i am about to take the plunge for a splitter and have been looking at them... just curious

I like it a lot. I got it in June 2012, so I have not had it too long. But I have split a lot of wood with it. Probably about 15 cords since then. I have not found many rounds it would not split. I've very happy with it, and I would recommend it.

40 here but still no fire. It warmed pretty quickly once the sun got up.

Good to hear the T5 is doing well for you. I save the chunk and light wood for shoulder season burning. Poplar is a good fall burn. Locust and cherry are my - dang it's cold out - fuel.
