I'm thinking we're good to go....starting off with Maple and Ash ( a few cords), by then I'm hoping the Oak will be ready for the beginning of the year

42F this morning, clear tonight 44F. No stove just yet. Once the daytime temps lower, then maybe. I hope the watermelons finish up before any frost.

Not ready here, dragging my butt trying to save a few cents. Have been waiting to see how the fall prices are going to settle down. Looks like $209 will be the best price available around this area for a ton of MWP.

Supposed to be in the low 80's most of this week. Nightime lows still kissing 60F. No complaints here.

Up and down like a basketball here. 40's last night and headed for close to 90 and humid in daytime by Tuesday. Mostly the makings of storms when fronts collide. Want it to cool down though. I used to cut and haul in spring but now do it in the fall.

As usual I would love to light my first fire around Thanksgiving. Of course that ain't gonna happen. It will happen in October and I will be tired of it by December. >>

Been ready fall and winter are my favorite seasons. Spring 2nd. Summer heat is only good for drying wood faster provided a nice breeze.

Spring and summer are my faves. Fall can be pretty nice too some years. Winter, meh.

85 & Humid here today, still sticky thick air, I do not like it. I want 65 & sunny for a month, but oh well. We've had a decent summer, only a few 90 deg days. I'm ready with wood, & dying to go back to cutting every weekend. Then hunting season comes so we're getting there. A C

Most of the summer was pretty mild, most all the 90+ days we had were after mid August & that's very unusual. Broke a 48 yr old record yesterday - 101 at 4PM,that's the latest its been that hot since 1939.

Still very dry here, about an 1 1/4" of rain one night last week, that was the biggest single rain since late June & more than entire total of July or August.Supposed to be cooler starting this weekend finally.

Definitely ready for cooler temps, brisk evening walks & sitting by the fire after working outside all day.

92 tomorrow and 68 on Saturday, crazy week

Spring and Fall are my favorites. This is when the New Englander comes out in me. The hiking season is kicking in to gear. Fall...the food! Halloween, my favorite holiday. I can walk this year and I am really looking forward to the crisp weather. Crossing my fingers that it is a dry one.

We had a disappointing winter down here in OZ and spring is here. So its our turn to sweat it out while collecting wood in the warmth. Im looking forward to seeing pics of you guys enjoying all your had work when it cools down..

5C here yesterday morning, and 33 C here tomorrow. Hope the tomatoes ripen over the next few days, because I'm sure the thermometer will go over a cliff after that
