Just installed a brand new Quadrafire Classic Bay insert. Stove lights fine, exhaust fan working, but convection fans will not come on at all. Stove burns until control panel flashes red (overheating) then goes into shut down mode. Checked all connections. Is there something I'm missing?

Brand new like never used or new to you. if your gettting a flashing red light like my quad it means no pellets are dropping is there a jam? Red flashing is calling for heat if i'm correct.

Bypass your #1 snap disc. Unplug the stove and open up the right side panel. There are two snap discs there one above the other. I believe it is the one with yellow or purple wires going to it that controls when the convection fan comes on. Jump that disc out, and if the convection blower starts that is your culprit.
Red light on control board means stove is at 600* and all is well?
How long did you run the stove? Can take over 10 minutes to get the convection fan to turn on?
The red light near the High/Med/Low switch is the call for heat light. Anytime the stove runs, it's on.
Again, if its the control board? There is nowhere that says that's an OVERHEAT.
You simply need to let the stove run longer. The stove, lights, then will get a green light (200*) then feeding resumes, once 600* is reached, the light turns red, then, when the snap disc see the desired temp ( slipped my mind? 125* IIRC), then the convection blower turns on.

They take a bit... Definitely. Its not immediate.
Start it. After 15 minutes (should be closer to 10 for the Classic bay) of it doesnt start? Then look elsewhere.

Stove is BRAND new as stated. Could be that it takes a long time for convection fan to come on. Stove seems awful hot to not have fan come on. Another problem. Stove comes on for about 10 seconds, then goes off, then comes on, etc. Does not drop pellets while it is doing this. Any ideas?
What do you mean, "Comes on and goes off"?? That actual combustion blower is stopping and starting? Or pellets drop and dont drop?
