I finally could no longer resit driving by this limb anymore. Its been on my list, and finally did it today. Had a saw the last few days with me so I pulled a u turn when I passed it and took a quick 15 mins to cut it up and load it.

Some of u may have seen my husky 372 rebuild thread. That's the saw I had with me. I decided to give it a short test run. It dis well, need to adjust the carb a bit, idle is not right.

better you got it than someone else

I think it was worth harvesting.....

And you didn't even say what it is??? Limb that big has to be oak right?
little bit of time to heat the house for a few days

Yea it was oak. A red oak, specifically willow oak.

A scrounge is a scrounge :p

You know whats funny is that I only really get small scores, but when I get 3-4 small toyota pickup loads a week............ Bam one day your like wow that ads up!!!! Nice quick score!! Pat

Nothing wrong with that at all! Now get that saw tuned and the idle set, and go plunge it into some big wood........and then, try to wipe the smile off of your face!! My 372XP makes me smile every time I run it!

It will idle and seems OK, but every so often it will die, and so metes tipping it up at idle it will die. Think it needs to tweak the L screw then back the idle back down or up. But till I get the darn toll I'm not going to be able to tell!

It 4 strokes at wot. Love it when in mid cut you quit leaning on it and you heat it 4 stroke. Puts a smile on my face!
